Nature

Just a stone’s throw from...

Le Nove hotel is located in the heart of Veneto, one of the most appreciated regions in Italy, with its treasures ranging from Lake Garda to the Dolomites, from Venice to other cities of art. Located at the intersection of the foothills and the Brenta river, we are at the gateway to the Vicenza Pre-Alps, a vast natural system where the gentlest hills meet the most severe mountains, all held together by the flowing Brenta river and a constellation of small lakes.

Grappa, Asiago, Cimone and Pasubio

Our mountains, the Vicentine Pre-Alps, are well-known to most people because they were the setting of the salient moments of the Great War and because they represent an immense open-air museum where a heritage of trenches, forts, walkways and paths is preserved.
Pasubio, Cimone, Asiago and Grappa are three mountains and a plateau that with their military shrines represent the tangible memory of the First World War. Places of memory made of artefacts, but also and above all of emotions where history and culture mingle with natural beauty. The valleys and mountains are covered by magnificent forests in which it is possible to walk and, for the more experienced, continue to the highest peaks where a marvellous panorama opens up towards the Veneto plain.

Caldonazzo, Levico, Arsie and the Silan waterfall

Water is the element that most strongly characterises our landscape, not only because of the presence of the river Brenta, but also because of the many minor watercourses along which there are a large number of ancient watermills. If the Brenta is no longer navigable and difficult to swim in, the lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico towards Trento and that of Arsie towards Feltre are an excellent alternative. Set between the mountains and characterised by beautiful views, they have crystal-clear waters in which to bathe and practice water sports. A 15-minute drive from Le Nove in the direction of Asiago, along the Valrovina excursion itinerary, is the natural oasis of the Silan waterfalls, a rare example of a waterfall in the Vicenza Pre-Alps.
